The Central Oregon Pee Wee Rodeo Association was established in 1968. It’s known to be one of Oregon’s longest running & largest youth rodeo associations, an all-volunteer organization, consisting of 200+ contestants from all of Oregon & the Pacific Northwest contestant’s ages 3 to 14. These families are traveling to Central Oregon 4 weekends, 8 rodeos, from April to July and competing in rodeos at the Crook County Fairgrounds in Prineville. COPWRA has sustained longevity because of the conscious efforts & sponsor’s support to produce top notch youth rodeos, continue to provide quality awards, and continue to engage youth in rural American’s greatest sport, rodeo.
Central Oregon Pee Wee Rodeo Association believes in developing strong leaders, good sportsmanship, supports the sport of rodeo & each other, dedicated to developing future rodeo stars, cultivating deep friendships among contestants and families, and there is a spirit of volunteering setting a good example for rodeo’s youth. Each contestant who attends enough rodeos will receive a COPWRA jacket that includes their name, business names and sponsor’s logos.
